so I kind of marathoned through all of Misfits
2 episodes in the late night, the other four...up to now
It's pretty quick - especially if you fast-forward past the naughty stuff, and it's only 6 episodes - and it's one of the shows I can watch while doing other things; it doesn't suck all my attention.
just one question:
WHEN DOES IT COME BACK?
argh all of their accents are going to affect me for the next two or three days.
It's near impossible for me to do accents on command. But when I watch various English-language things, sometimes the accents leave an impression on me. That's why my California girl accent tends towards a weird British accents blend mashed up with other things when I'm around immediate family or otherwise looseheaded.
Immediately after I watch something (English-language), sometimes the accents come out unexpectedly. You should have heard me the three days after I watched The Departed.
another random bit:
Recipe for Sweet Tea Fried Chicken has hilarious backlash in comments
start there, and then click "prev" to see the full progression
what if ONTD had recipes? It'd be something like this, except with gifs.
It is fried chicken, you expect it to be healthy?
of course there's lard and salt, unless one of you knows a good lard substitute...
some examples:
This bizarre "recipe" is further proof there is no intelligent life at aol!
o rly?
WTH is Beverage?!
Beverage? What's beverage?? You mean a can of soda or beer?
Are a lot of your cookbooks being found at yardsales or 2nd hand stores?
WHAT KIND OF INSULT IS THAT THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD COOKBOOKS SOLD AT THOSE FINE ESTABLISHMENTS
at least there are a few more sensible commenters (bolding mine):
First of all for all you reviewers, if you are so worried about eating "healthy" then you should stay away from ANY recipe with the word fried in it! Second, in case you are a complete idiot you should know that Prep time listed on any recipe is time actually spent working - not marinating, cooling...etc. Third, for those that were taken aback by the planning ahead nature of the recipe, obviously you have never made "real" fried chicken. For a decent fried chicken you should always soak in a brine- then follow with a buttermilk mixture. This method is quite common. So - maybe you folks should keep your ignorant comments to yourselves!
