yay Arsenal!

aww Werder (argh I woke up and no streams available)

also, thanks to ONTD, I have learned that the usual American size 6 = British size 10.
unless you go to H&M, at least in the US...then I (usually size 4, for shirts and pants and shoes) have to get like size 12...and I've brought so many cute shirts to the dressing room, only to find out in mid-fit that the shoulders are tailored to people without any arm muscles. I get so scared of ripping the shirt. hmph.

what are your clothes complaints?
my most recent one, from shopping at Macy's about a month ago: I can understand pants being too small for my big thighs. While super-long pants are annoying, I understand that I'm kind of short at 5'2 and 3/4" (around 1.58 meters), so even with longish legs I probably don't hit average.
but when I'm trying on pants that seem to fit (even my thighs and hips!) until my foot can't come out because the bottom of the pants seem to be made for people with no calves? what what what

I am a L in Asia, just saying. It doesn't help that I have monkey arms and not much of a waist.

My clothes complaints? WHY DO ALL MY TSHIRTS GET THESE TINY HOLES AROUND THE HIP AREA? I haven't bought anything for a while so...we'll see....

I tend to be S or M here (lol how many times have I heard myself think or here someone else call H&M S&M)

BUT YOU'RE SKINNY FOO

hmm, must be some kind of wear around the hip area...maybe wear from being against your jeans? belts?
or mice.
I've only gotten a few holes in random places

Dude. It must be the belt. Because I don't crash into table corners THAT much.

I'm an 8/10 in h&m's shirts, bigger in hoodies. the european sizing confuses me sometimes - like is this small? smallish medium? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND etc.

the only place I can get jeans is express, seriously. I a/mwas an eight, but my thighs got bigger from going up and down stairs at school, so I might be a ten now? idk why my body just can't stay the same size.

oh, I get it H&M = European sizing. -headdesk-
the Small, XS, M is a bit more comprehensible to me, maybe because I'm more word-oriented than number-oriented, I don't know

yeah, they don't realize that sometimes things like college life build up muscles, especially in the legs

I hate shopping for jeans. Even the thought of it makes me want to bang my heat against a wall... I'm short too (5'2"), and I don't have particularly long legs, so it's almost impossible for me to find jeans that aren't too long and not too big or small around the waist. :(

yay fellow 5'2'' !

argh lol I feel more sorry for my dad and brother, who usually end up tagging along when we find a store in the mall...

what's worst is when the crotch is too high. It's interesting what design implies about body assumptions

I bet Ozy never had this problem. He could pay to make jeans just as fab as he is.

European sizing is a bit bizarre for sure. I was in Britain for a while and I always remembered it as British 6 (generally their smallest size) = American 2, Brit 8 = American 4 and so on... H&M shirt fits in particular are always a bit inconsistent for me.

Jean shopping is totally my least favorite activity. My main complaint is inseam length. I'm 5'2'' with short legs for the height, so even "short" sizes are usually too long for me.

thanks for confirmation on that. argh H&M if only I didn't like your prices for your looks so much...

I hate shopping for jeans/pants because I can never find a size that fits me. Why can't every designer use the same size? And then by the end of the day, I'm just about ready to call it quits and pay a tailor for custom-made pants.
I'm about as tall as you. Petites fit me fine in length, but stores apparently don't cater much to petites. The regular size I find much more easier in fit, but it's always too long or doesn't exactly fit me.

I leave never 100% satisfied.

yes, sometimes I get so frustrated and wish for custom as well. I know the Levi's in SF does it, but even though Levi's jeans tend to fit me better than other brands (I don't know why, just something I've noticed over the years), they would probably cost more than I'm willing to pay.

Petite pants are sometimes okay for me, but most of the petite shirts can't hold up to my shoulders. Since I don't like/can't fit in a lot of the styles in juniors, I end up going to women's and hoping to find a younger-looking style

Jeans are always too long for me which is really annoying. I used to hate buying pants.

they started making them much skinnier and longer a few years ago...before that, they had the too-wide flares and then the too-high crotches. ha, this is how I remember fashion trends.
