Lost thoughts, tons of links, and a recap of my Monday San Francisco Adventure to come later. But wanted to put some music and meme things here.

Yesterday, the songs playing in my head were “Carry On” by Panda and “Totem on the Timeline” by Klaxons. Got so addicted to them that I had to go on my myspace just to play Carry On and then follow that with the Totem that I downloaded.
In between, I listened to the Rhythms del Mundo CD, where two members of the Buena Vista Social Club made mostly good salsa and son versions of Western songs ranging from “As Time Goes By” to “Clocks” and “She Will Be Loved.” The best one, which I copied onto tape cassette, was the blistering salsa sound added to the Arctic Monkeys’ “Dancing Shoes.”
This got me on a bit of an Arctic Monkeys kick. A week or two ago, I recorded (onto tape again) the latest single off the radio. The DJ said it was called “Brainstorm.” Well, yesterday, I looked it up. Turns out it’s really “BRIANstorm.” Cheeky little monkeys. Found the video -opinion’s mixed on the visuals, though they are trying to say something- but just listen to it.

1. Do you think 19 will get along better with 12 or 13?
Bubbles (19) would probably get along with Miro (12) better. Jack Bristow (13) would scare her.
2. If 2,4,6, and 8 get superpowers, what would they be?
2 -Nadia’s already awesome without powers, but I’d give her enhanced reflexes and speed or something like that, just for that extra push.
4 -Sylar- does he really need any more superpowers?
6 -John Locke- if it would return him to his initial coolness level, we could say that he gained healing powers in the purple explosion. Like, if he touched people, he could heal them. That would fit with his character and shaman-like ways.
8 -Dwight…now, would it be good for the world if he had superpowers? How about super-speed-reading? That’d be okay.

Death (17)…I’m not sure (haven’t seen the Hogfather TV special), but I don’t think it’d cause much controversy. He is a skeleton, after all.
If #4 and #6 went on a date, who would ask whom, and where would they go?
Ooh…Locke(6) would take Sylar(4) around the island, but they’d break up because Sylar would try to take the island’s power away. It’d be a very intense relationship, though.
Has #20 ever met Buffy Summers?
20- Iker? Hmm, no, but that could be interesting. Super slayer soccer!

Sylar is probably the villain on the loose. Shiina Ringo is the femme fatale who hires Peter Wiggin to find him. Dwight is Peter’s partner/sidekick, whom Peter keeps for his minutiae-filled mind. Peter wants to turn in Sylar, get good reputation and advance his career. But when they do find Sylar, Shiina-chan kills him out of revenge (he took one brain too many). The title? Mind Games.

Death and Bubbles! Aww, that’d be cute. They’d go to an ice cream parlor and chat and Bubbles totally would get over his being a skeleton and Death and all. Death would walk Bubbles home, (holding hands), but Professor Utonium would get all protective and worried about Bubbles and kindly tell Death that maybe she needs some time and space and Bubbles would look all sad but Death would just say it was for the best and walk away…

Sun, Spike, Dean, Boba Fett, and Jack Bristow. Oh dear. I’ll just make a story.
Dean would be helping Sun with a supernatural problem when he spots Boba Fett. Not able to ignore the awesomeness that is Boba Fett, he takes some time to question the Fett. Fett’s needs to get Spike alive- well, at least not dust him. They make a deal: Dean can use his expertise with the supernatural to get the vamp, while Boba Fett can help with Sun’s complicated problem that I can’t figure out in detail but HE JUST NEEDS FETT’S HELP OKAY? So, it all works out. Then Sun goes into a hidden corner and calls Jack Bristow. “The older Winchester’s qualified for the next phase of training.”
“Did you bug the bounty hunter?”
“Put the liquid in his thank-you drink.”
“Good. Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. Kwon.”
4, 8, 15 and 16 will record an album, what will their individual roles be (singer, bass player) and what kind of music will they make?
Sylar on bass, Dwight on drums, Shiina Ringo on vocals and guitar, and Peter on keyboards. The band name: Domination. They will be the greatest rock group ever. I can see the album cover now. They will be the first band to literally take over the world.
Does 6 prefer to hook up with 9 or 13? And why?
Locke would rather be with Miro. Darth Vader would bring up waaaaay too many daddy issues.
