Oh my gosh. American commentators are genius in ways they can never comprehend. I laughed so hard that I cried, and then when I sniffed, I SNORTED UP MY TEARS.
And that made me laugh some more.
But that is nothing compared to the abuse of vocabulary perpetrated by Gol TV's Ray Hudson.
It's the aural equivalent of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Or Starcrash!. That's an Italian sci-fi movie starring David Hasselhoff and Christopher Plummer. Yup.

Talk of Becks' first MLS goal will be in the proper posts. But continuing with the theme of American soccer silliness (Gol TV's American-based, I think). So...

Geez. American commentating....I honestly never know whether to laugh or cry (except at the video you posted. I laughed). Have you been watching any of David Beckham's Soccer USA via youtube? They have this 'How to Speak American Commentator' bit, it's hilarious (and painful).

And I don't know why, but I've never liked Donovan.

ooh, I haven't...I'm so glad I understand Spanish. Sometimes the commentators are a tad offensive, but at least they know the game and come up with some really fun puns.

My brother punches me for not liking him, just because my mom still likes him for longtimeago World Cup and because she saw 4 Czechs marking him in an early 2006 World Cup game. yeah. We're in the Bay Area, and he left a lot of people in San Jose feeling betrayed. So there's that too.
