Sorry it's been a while. I just can't go to the computer as often. It's not a matter of time or parent's approval, rather, I just don't
feel like going on the computer anymore. It's not rational, I know, but...yeah.
Well, first, best of wishes to those affected by the London bombings. That was just terrible.
The weird thing is, I had been reading
War of the Worlds for two days when the bombings occured. Suddenly, the tale of London under destruction felt a bit weirder. But I'm still reading the book. So far it's better than the watchable, exciting, yet just okay Spielberg version my brother begged to watch last week.
Inspired by
NaNoWriMo and NaNoWriMo founder Chris Baty's book
No Plot! No Problem!, I am now on Day 2 of my 30 day effort to write a 50,000 page novel. Wish me luck.
However, those 30 days will be broken up by something really neat. This Wednesday, my family and some of my friends will venture out on the open road insanely early in the morning. We will travel for many hours before we reach our destination, San Diego.
Why?
For
Comic Con! I hope to do a lot of cool things there and meet some interesting people. But, unfortunately, I'm only going to the convention on Thursday. Orson Scott Card will be there on Saturday and Sunday, and
the Lost cast and creators will be there Saturday! GAAAH! Oh well. I'll have a full report here when I get back.
Now, back to my stacks of books, word-count deadlines, and constant playing of the supergreat game
Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic II.
