I wasn't able to watch the World Cup games -beats up time zones-, but...we US women won 4-1!!! First the German men's team, now the US WMNT...I hope third place isn't a trend for the teams I like best in a tournament!
The German women beat Brazil to win first place. While I like Germany, a win for Brazil could have improved the sentiment towards femmes in footie there. Still, congrats to all for making it this far!

I had the MiroDrama just a few days because I didn't want to realise that he was leaving Werder. Miro = Werder for me. Always. But.. I have to say.. he fits in at Bayern so well. I would have never blieved that.

My MiroDrama was one long, torturous period of waaaaah during summer vacation, when my life solely consisted of family troubles and fandom squee/boo. But talking with other friends about it and just to seeing him so happy now, when I was worrying about him during last season's second leg, it's just such a relief.

But.. I have to say.. he fits in at Bayern so well. I would have never blieved that.

It was right at the end of the match; our Dynamo were up 3-0. Here's the statistic summary (http://www.soccerway.com/match/major-league-soccer/football-club-dallas/houston-dynamo/437759/). And then Dallas' Ruiz blocks Dynamo's Ricardo Clark in the the air, right in the box. Clark is hit. He falls to the ground and is furious. Ruiz is also on the ground. Clark gets up and kicks Ruiz's shoulder hard. The other Dynamo players quickly push Clark out of the way.

I couldn't believe it at first. Immediate red card. After some discussion, Ruiz gets a red card for starting the thing by deliberately knocking Clark out of the air. It was just a horrible end to a pretty good game. Dwayne De Rosario was definitely the Man of the Match.
